Lana Ciboci Perša works at the Croatian Catholic University. She also teaches as an external associate at the Faculty of Croatian Studies and at the Faculty of Teacher Education, University of Zagreb. She is the Vice President of the Society for Communication and Media Culture, a civil society association dedicated to non-formal media education of children, parents, teachers and professional associates. In 2017, the association was awarded a special prize by the jury of the “Evens Foundation” – the leading promoter of media education in the European Union. For seven years she was employed at Edward Bernays College of Communication Management where she was the Vice Dean for Science and Quality Management. For many years she was the editor-in-chief of the international scientific journal Communication Management Review and the president and co-chair of the Program Committee of the scientific conference Communication Management Forum. For two years she was the President of the Main Committee for Social Sciences of the Council of Colleges or Higher Education Institutions of the Republic of Croatia. As a member of the Commitee, she participated in the process of initial accreditation and re-accreditation of several domestic and foreign universities. She is the editor of several books and collections of papers.
