A modern library cannot exist without use of information technologies. Internet access and connection with the Web information space is a must. Digital libraries are tightly related with distance education. Users expect around the clock service. How should we organize digital libraries?
Could they become the main source of quality information, available via the Internet? How can we assure that each and every piece of information published is archived for future use in a reliable and useful manner?
