Principal of University Heights Public School, Thames Valley Public School London, Ontario, Canada. Joe has been in education for over 25 years teaching at University, High School, Middle School and Elementary school in his career. He has been a curriculum consultant for the school board and a professor at the faculty of education instructing pre – service teachers. He is a local historian and has published a number of textbooks including Active Citizens Today: Global Citizenship for Local Schools Handbook. Joe has been nominated for a number of teaching awards throughout his career including Governor General of Canada Award for Teaching History and I.T.S.E. on line educator of the year. Joe has been a member of a number of committees including New Administrator Committee and the Social Justice Committee of the school board. Joe has been involved in Time Project for 20 years and in that capacity has offered workshops and lectures in Greece, France, the Netherlands and is thrilled to be presenting in Croatia!
