Zeljko Majdancic graduated from the Zagreb Medical School, and finished postgraduate study in medical informatics. Before the study of medicine he studied mathematics and physics. His professional career Dr. Majdancic began as a general practitioner. He conducted projects on clinical investigation of medicines for foreign pharmaceutical firms, and was an associate in research projects of the Ministry of Croatian Defenders. He took part in a number of symposia, seminars, and workshops in the field of medical informatics. He is the author of papers dealing with medicine and medical informatics, and the editor of several publications. Dr. Majdancic is employed in Psychiatric Hospital Vrapce.
