Mobile Internet: Business Necessity or Toys for Boys?

The first encounter with computers made in early 80's, first computer built at home, based on Z-80.
During studies worked in Zagreb and Vienna as programmer and system engineer.

During the War, participated in the formation of IT core of Medical Corps HQ, Crisis HQ of the University of Zagreb, and offices of the Government and Ministry of Defence.

Graduated in 1995 from Faculty of Electronics and Computer Sciences in Zagreb.

Project manager in software company mikroPROM, after that in Croatian Securities Commission, and since September 2001 works in VIPnet’s Marketing & Sales Department, developing business Internet solutions.

Krunoslav Kedmenec
Internet user from the early days of BBS's and 1200 baud modems.

After graduation from Faculty of Electronics and Computer Sciences, Zagreb in 1996 started working at first Croatian commercial Internet Service Provider HPT-Internet (today HThinet). First as system engineer and latter as team leader participated in building whole ISP infrastructure, specializing in dial-in modem pools and IP network architecture.

In 2000 joined VIPnet team and successfully managed integration of Internet and GSM with VIPonline service. Currently working with VIPnet as project manager in Product development department on new Business Internet Solutions.
