In this presentation we discuss the current state of mobile Internet services. A quick mobile access technologies overview will be given enhanced with some information on existing services. During presentation, live demos will compare different mobile public access technologies (GSM, GPRS) and e-mail access methods (SMS, WAP, web mail, POP). Pros and cons of different technologies for mobile public Internet access or corporate LAN access will be discussed. In conclusion, with comparison of speed, usability, costs of devices and data connections we give recommendation on usage patterns.
