The Closing Session was held September 30th, 1999 at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing in Zagreb.
It followed the Web Festival, where best web sites with educational content were awarded.

The Closing Session was hosted by Mr. Miroslav Milinović who thanked all participants and speakers for attending the conference and contributing to its success. Mr Vladimir Braus then gave an overview of the conference by presenting the "Conference Highlights" where the most memorable events and presentations at the conference were briefly presented.

CARNet CEO Mrs Jasenka Gojšić then awarded the best presentations at the Conference. In conclusion, Mr Milinović announced CUC 2000 and officially closed CUC'99.
