The project "Croatian Sign Language on Internet" was originally a part of the project "Liturgy in Sign Language" which is a project of the Faculty of Philosophy of the Society of Jesus in Zagreb and CARNet. Our primary goal was to demonstrate how could Internet be used in evangelization and education of the deaf persons. We also wanted to make available articles on sign language, deafness and the deaf persons on Internet. Now we have more than 300 pages of text on different topics like education of the deaf persons, culture of the deaf persons, cochlear implant etc. We also created an animated Croatian sign language dictionary with more than 100 terms and the number of terms is growing daily. Our final aim is to make a tribute to standardization and full acknowledgement of the sign language in Croatia and to make available useful information to the parents of the deaf children.
