Tomislav Matić is employed as a full-time professor at the Department of Communications, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computing and Information Technologies, Osijek. From 2017 to 2019 he held the position of vice dean for teaching and students, and from 2021 holds the Office of Dean.
He conducted scientific research in the field of modulation procedures, analogue-digital conversion, biomedical engineering and integrated circuit design. He published the results of his scientific research in over 30 scientific papers in scientific journals and at international conferences. As a manager and associate, he participated in the implementation of several scientific and professional projects. He is a co-inventor on 18 patent applications, 5 of which are protected by an international patent.
