Marijana Pezelj works at CARNET as a specialist in the education support department, and in her 22 years at CARNET, she has worked as coordinator of the Split hub, head of the educational center, assistant director, and president of the CUC Program Committee. Despite her primary technical orientation (having graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture, Department of Electronics, specializing in computer engineering), she found herself involved in tasks related to education and the implementation of new technologies in education.
The professional training she herself underwent took place in an online environment: Cisco Networking Academy (2003), E-learning Academy, specializing in Course Design (2012 – 2013), and additionally, she has attended numerous seminars and courses in management, teamwork, communication skills, business processes, and project management. She has participated in and led several e-learning projects, particularly focusing on the development of online content and the implementation of tools and platforms for online learning. In the e-School pilot project, she was engaged in analyzing and improving the digital maturity of schools.
