Renata Ivanković is employed at CARNET as the head of the Department for the development of e-learning concepts, within which she leads teams for learning analytics and analysis of e-learning concepts. In parallel with the development of concepts and learning analytics, with the team, she researches and applies AI tools that contribute to the creation of digital content for the development of adaptive learning.

After obtaining a diploma as a teacher of mathematics and informatics, she worked for several years as a teacher of both subjects in secondary schools, and then for two years she encouraged the use of ICT in teaching as a senior advisor for informatics and computing in the Education Agency.

At CARNET, she led national projects for the informatization of the entire teaching and management staff in schools, such as the multi-year, modular project ICT Edu, Tesla in the School and the Center for a Safer Internet, and participated in the planning and implementation of a large number of European and national projects, such as what are Inspiring Science Education, e-Schools, e-Universities, etc. In her work, Renata places special emphasis on the field of learning analytics and the appropriate and safe use of ICT in the upbringing and education of children and young people. She held a large number of lectures and workshops for teachers, school principals, senior advisors of AZOO and decision-makers from several ministries and the Parliament of the Republic of Croatia, all with the aim of encouraging the appropriate and safe application of digital technology in work.
