We'll try to answer the question "how" we implemented
our WebPAC. What were our goals, how we revised and adjusted
them to changing conditions. We will describe environment
in which we worked (19 different libraries, organizational
structure which is not well defined, problems with floor space
in libraries, insufficient communication between library staff
and board to mention just a few.) Why we decided to solve
our problem step by step, using existing Open Source solutions,
no matter how complete or inadequate they are, instead of
waiting for single "perfect" solution that will
solve all our problems in one integrated package? What have
we learned in the process and how that affected creation of
new requirements? What are our future plans?
