Using the Net to Teach about the Net:
An Experience in Giving Web-based Courses

Oliver Popov is a professor of Computer Science at the Institute for Informatics, Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, Saints Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, Macedonia, and a visiting professor of Computer Science at the Intuited of Information Technology and Media, Mid Sweden University in Sundsvall, Sweden. Professor Popov holds a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the University of Missouri, Rolla, Missouri in USA. His research interests include protocol engineering, wireless and mobile networking, the application of multi agent paradigms and deviant logical systems to networking, and the Information Society. He is currently a vice-chairman of Central and Eastern European Networking Association (CEENet).

Iskra Popova is a professor of Informatics at the Faculty of Pedagogy, Saints Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, Macedonia and a visiting lecturer in Computer Science at the Institute of Information Technology and Media, Mid Sweden University in Sundsvall, Sweden. Her research interests are focused on routing and flow control algorithms in computer networks, network congestion control, and the technology of distance learning and Web based education.

Rahim Rahmani is a teaching and research fellow at the Intuited of Information Technology and Media, Mid Sweden University in Sundsvall, Sweden. His research is oriented towards the 4G wireless networks, QoS in a mixed network environments and protocol engineering. Mr. Rahmani is also a Ph.D. student at the Mid Sweden University.
