• The information potential of the Internet is dramatically increasing because of the growing number of Web pages. However, the quantity of information that is no longer available on the Web is following that rate (about 10% of links on the Internet are broken (linkrot) comparing to only 7% of the links that were broken 12 months earlier. More than 25% of the web pages have at least one broken link.
