Webfestival 2005
The Webfestival is a traditional conference event dedicated
to Web authors as well as to Web users, providing the Web authors with
the opportunity to present their accomplishments, to compare them, and
to evaluate their impact. (The rules of the contest).
The Webfestival 2005 was a competition for the best Web
sites among the institutions of higher education of Republic of Croatia
and their organizational units.
Through the Webfestival 2005 the organizers wanted to expand
the Croatian Web information space, to improve its quality, as well as
to encourage the institutions of higher education to create new and improve
the existing Web sites.
The Webfestival 2005 was organized as the sixth one, but this time as
an entirely separate event alongside with CUC 2005.

Awards granted by the official Webfestival Jury
The evaluation process was carried out by the Webfestival
Jury. Among 22 Web sites applied, Jury awarded a prize to three Web sites
within each category and one honorable mention.

Croatica Database, Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, Zagreb,
was awarded an honorable mention.
