Distance education, thanking to it's flexibility, is becoming more and more common way to satisfy the constantly growing need for knowledge in modern society. But also, distance education is a complex and demanding way of delivering and acquiring knowledge, for both teachers and students. Do they know each others needs, preferences, possibilities,…? In this workshop we will discuss some courses offered on the net and their positive and negative sides from the students' perspective. We will also look at some examples of implementing distance education in different circumstances and try to learn from other people experience. We will not use technology for creating a distance education course but creativity in using the best technology for distance education. Let it be a solution, not just the fashion.
