In
this paper situation is Croatian economy and education is completed,
as the foundation for development of strategy for distance learning
education in Croatia. We have provided an example of distance
learning system of HITA-CONSULTING o Business school from Zagreb,
Croatia. Croatian state owned education is not able to respond
to demand for needs for high quality life education and very
wide range of vocations, for which are many new programs necessary.
We think that Croatia should choose the strategy for fast stimulation
of private high distance learning education and founding of
Croatian Electronic University in Croatian and English language.
Only electronic distance learning can provide high quality,
fast, and inexpensive education which have to work in the integrated
market of the European Union and in the states of Stability
pact.
