In
some fields distance learning can be crucial in Croatia. Part-time
university studies, among others, could be such a field using
advantages of modern technology and providing relative flexibility
of time and place as opposed to the rigidity of regular education.
Following the supply of necessary resources, needs of target
population should be taken into account and teams preparing
course materials could provide learning modules. Possible content
of an experimental modul of English for specific purposes could
be divided into: information sequences, comprehension and application
sequences accompanied by necessary feedback, and, also by possible
introductory and follow-up classes and meetings.
