This
paper primary addresses teachers and professors that wish to
implement WWW technology in their educational activities, in
near future. For that purpose, there are several courseware
tools available on the market, that allow simple use of Internet
technologies even to ones with no technical background. Apart
from a review of advantages and disadvantages of courseware
tools, different elements are presented, that are should to
be used by teachers, students and system administrators, as
well as various smaller programs integrated in any courseware
tool. In order to show how it looks in practice; we chose four
different products. You will learn how they were developed,
their availability and conditions under which they can be used
and purcaced. And we will try to illustrate the way they work,
using few pictures. Since these tools are used in learning process,
it is necessary to say a word about pedagogical aspects of that
new approach to studying and learning. That area is still being
explored, since it has been implemented around the world only
for five years, and in our country it is still at the very beginning.
Teachers can help in that process by making comparative statistics
on learning success with classical and new methods, and by making
surveys among students.
