Toni Nikolić (date of birth 17 April 1959.) have basic biological education: BsD - Experimental Biology and BsD - Biology school teacher, both in 1986 on University of Zagreb. Specialisation in the field of botany was result in MsD in 1989 and PhD in 1992. on same University. Several different employment's include: technologist (Pharmaceutical Industries PLIVA, 1987), younger assistant, assistant (1989), senior assistant (1993) and currently docent (1998) in Department of Botany, Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb. Scientific experience include leadership of project: Biological data base and GIS (1993-1996) and collaboration in several other projects. Teaching experience include practical work with students of all study years in several courses, also filed works and teaching (Cormophyta, 3td year students). Used scholarships are from Pharmaceutical Industries PLIVA (in 1987) and Alpe-Adria Society (in 1994). Specialisation was done in Karl-Franzens Universitat (Austria, 1994). Toni Nikolić is member of several professional societies, member of Acta Botanica Croatica editorial board, Index Florae Croaticae editor in chief, author of several books, popular, expert and scientific papers.
