Dunja Merkler was born in Slavonski Brod on 1. th october 1961., educated in elementary and high school in Slavonski Brod and Philozophical faculty in Zagreb.Today, she is teaching cratian language and literature and work in library of Geodetska tehnicka škola in Zagreb. She published same essay and books about literature or history of literature and same text book for teaching croatian language and literature ( reading book for the sixst grade"Ljepota rijeci" published by "Školska knjiga ", text book "Vodic kroz lektiru" published by Sysprint, etc.)
