Nenad
Prelog was born in Zagreb, January 1, 1948. He graduated Sociology
and Philosophy at the University of Zagreb, and got his Master
of Science degree at University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He defended
his doctorate: "Information Aspects of Environmental Management",
at the University of Zagreb. Post doctorate research was done
as Fulbright fellow at the University of California Los Angeles.
Nenad Prelog was working in Referral Centre of the University
of Zagreb, He was Dean of Graduate Program in information Sciences,
for two years was editor-in-chief of "Byte", and now is Deputy
Director of Lexicographical Institute "Miroslav Krleža". Currently
is teaching at Faculty of Informatics in Varaždin, at Faculty
of Political Sciences - School of Journalism, and at Croatian
Studies. He published 6 books and more than 50 scientific and
professional articles.
