Dr. Barišić Ingeborg is a paediatrician and medical geneticist, Head of the Department of Paediatrics, Childrenc s University Hospital Zagreb. She is also Assistant Professor at the Faculty for Education and Rehabilitation Sciences and is engaged in several postgraduate medical courses. In co-operation with CARNet she started in 1997 an on line learning project "Principles of Human Genetics".

She is also involved in the CARNet project of on line presentation of the journal "Paediatria Croatica". Dr. I. Barišić has published numerous papers and is co-author of several textbooks of paediatrics and medical genetics.
