Korlević
Korado Korlević recived his B.Sc. in 1981 from the Pedagogical faculty of Rijeka. Since 1992. he has been responsible for the educational activities at the Višnjan Observatory. At the end of the eighties with a group of colleagues he started the "Yugoslav School of Astronomy". As an amateur astronomer he started to observe meteors. This work culminated with the participation at the "1st International Tunguska Expedition". His astrometry measurements were followed by the first discoveries of asteroids and comets from Croatia. Korado Korlević was the editor of the "Nebeska krijesnica", a newsletter and referee for astronomical articles regarding impact topics. His main challenge is to search better, more effective way to motivate the gifted pupils, and for that purpose few very different educational activities were organized at the Višnjan Observatory. |
