Zoran Jovanović is a Chairman and Professor of Computer Engineering, Computer Engineering and Computer Science Department at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Belgrade, Director of Belgrade University Computing Center and a Director of the National Research and Education Network (NREN) of Serbia and Montenegro - AMREJ.

He has published 18 journal papers, more than 30 international conference papers and was more than 13 times an invited conference speaker. He has received awards for the best diploma work and best Ph.D. thesis by the city of Belgrade and more than 6 professional awards. Zoran Jovanović has published more than 100 papers at local conferences and was Program Committee Chair for 2 conferences. He has coordinated more than 10 research projects and more than 40 projects in computer networking, software development and turn-key systems.
