Gordan Gledec is an assistant professor at the Department of Applied Computing at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing (FER) of the University of Zagreb. He got his Ph.D. in 2004 with the thesis „Metrics For Web Site Usability Evaluation“.

His research interests are in the area of Internet and Web technologies, and the problems of usability, credibility, security and privacy on the Web. Since October 2003 he is the manager of the „WWW.HR - Croatian Homepage“ project, developed at the Department of Telecommunications at FER and sponsored by Croatian Academic and Research Network (CARNet).

He is the author and co-author of 17 scientific and professional papers on domestic and international conferences and the co-author of one chapter in the university handbook. He is the member of the IEEE organization. He is the member of the Commision for .hr domain.
