Webfestival rules

The Webfestival 2005 is a competition for the best Web sites among the institutions of higher education of Republic of Croatia, divided into two categories:

  • the Web site of an institution of higher education,
  • the Web site of an organizational unit within an institution of higher education.

The evaluation process is carried out by the Webfestival Jury. At the same time the general public also evaluates the best achievements for the Users' choice award in both categories by regular online voting.

Criteria for the Participation in the Contest

General conditions for the application of the Web site are the following:

  • only the Web site of an institution or an organizational unit within an institution of higher education may be entered for the competition,
  • the Web site may be entered for the competition only by a natural person, a representative of an institution or an organizational unit within an institution of higher education, i.e. by the member of the scientific and teaching personnel or an employee of an institution or an organizational unit, or a student.

If the Web site does not fulfill the mentioned conditions, the Jury has the right to disqualify the Web site from further competition. The Jury will tend to solve all the problematic situations in compliance with the objectives of the Webfestival Organization.
