Online Asynchronous Learner Discussion Forum; A new tool for teaching guided discovery and critical thinking in Physiology

SUNCANA KUKOLJA TARADI
· Suncana Kukolja Taradi is a assisstant professor of physiology and immunology at the Faculty of Medicine in Zagreb. In 1996. she started a Web-site "Interactive Physiology" (http://www.mef.hr/~fiziol/). The site was rewarded by the jury of the webfestival of CUC99 with the second price. The site was also included into 100 best croatian Web sites in the year 1999 by the PCchip magazine.
She is teaching undergraduate and graduate students about online education and telemedicine.
In cooperation with CARNet, Suncana Kukolja Taradi is leading a project on online education "Interactive educational module of acide-base balance in humans".

MILAN TARADI
· Milan Taradi is a professor of physiology and immunology at the Faculty of Medicine in Zagreb. He is the author of nummerious online educational materials and interactive tools in the field of physiology and immunology (http://salata.mef.hr/~mtaradi/) as well as the main (and only) collaborator on the "Interactive Physiology". He is teaching undergraduate and graduate students about online education and telemedicine
Milan Taradi is a co-worker in the project "Interactive educational module of acide-base balance in humans" sponsored by CARNet.
