ThinkQuest is global educational program, real and virtual competition that invites worldwide teams made of young people and their mentors to create educational applications on the Web. Teams and their sites are competing in five different categories. At the end of 2000 CARNet joined ThinkQuest as national partner for Croatia. This presentation will explain what is ThinkQuest, how to participate in ThinkQuest, and what are the benefits of ThinkQuest for students and teachers, as well as why this program is beneficial for internetization of Croatia, computer literacy in general and how digital divide is addressed within the program.
