Jadranka Stojanovski
is a head of the Rudjer Boskovic Institute Library. In 1995 she
started a project Croatian scientific information system - Sciences
which spreads after few years on the fields of biomedicine, engineering
and humanities and includes 80 academic and research libraries
at the present. Her recent work includes several projects: (CROSBI)
"Croatian scientific bibliography" (http://bib.irb.hr
- Web based digital library about scientific and professional
papers), "CARNet Online Database Centre" (http://baze.irb.hr
- relevant databases for the academic and research community of
Croatia), and German project Elektronische Zeitschriftendatenbank.
She is involved
in the continuous education of librarians and users, and has taught
different seminars on database retrieval, Web searching, virtual
libraries etc. Her current interests are in the area of retrieval
systems, library organisation and management, library automation,
network services in the library, libraries on the Web, electronic
scholarly publishing, and digital libraries. She has published
numerous conference papers and articles.
