Since 1994 local catalog databases from member libraries were collected in order to create online union catalogue. It was expossed to academic community and announced. The need of feedback information came out. It is compared with few foreign catalogues. Therefore users of fiftheen member libraries were interviewed. The results are analysed . Half of libraries were unable to respond becouse librarians are the only persons who pursue information retreival. Obviously, users needs are at odds with recent feasibilities on different faculties and then the question is: whether to widespread computerization or have strong informatiom centers in libraries?
