Bojan Mijatovic, Executive Summary:

Work Experience:
· 1998 - present University of Zagreb Head of Alumni Office (AMAC) Takes over the task of forming an alumni office at the University of Zagreb, Croatia, largest HE institution in SEE with more than 63.000 students, together with working in the International Department with bilateral, multilateral and technical co-operation jobs, promoting new trends such as distance education and credit transfer systems and other skills acquired through travelling and extensive communication with foreign partners
· 1997-1998 Croatian Institute for Culture and Information Media-analyst/Head of IT Actively participates in the creation of a information system of media-analysis in a small workgroup headed by the deputy director at the CICI in Zagreb and works as an analyst for a weekly analysis bulletin depicting numerous issues at the political and state level, later head of IT department serving 15 employees in a small local area network
· 1995-1997 Ministry of Science and Technology Advisor As an international relations officer responsible for numerous countries and regions and the administration of the ongoing programmes involving bilateral and multilateral co-operation and technical assistance
· 1993-1995 Croatian Academic Fencing Club "Mladost" Secretary Heads the largest Croatian fencing club with more than 70 members leading to the first Croatian international sports results in this sport
· 1991-1993 Ministry of Defence Commanding Officer/Writer Engaged in the Homeland War and being promoted from private to lieutenant for high-ranking duties that were carried out during the most critical moments in 1991, participates as member of the editorial staff of the military magazine "Gardist"

Foreign languages: English and Swedish fully; Norwegian, Danish and a little bit of French and Hungarian on a passive level.

Writing and Translating Experience:
· 1997 - present "PCchip" Magazine As a permanent contributor in one the largest Croatian PC magazines covering topics such as multimedia and Internet technologies, mobile communications and applied themes.
· 1991-1992 "Gardist" Writes the first Croatian war diary during the Homeland War 1991and is member of the editorial board of the military magazine which was published until 1993
· 1989-present Various publications Writes and translates for the bulletin for Scandinavian studies at the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Zagreb, writes for the "Students' Magazine" covering different topics in the cultural and media section, translates different articles and publications and parts of publications

IT experience:
· extensive knowledge of PC hardware maintenance
· usage of commercial applications, such as MS Office
· usage of web-tools, HTML coding and web-publishing
· e-mail configuration and advanced e-mail usage Education:
· completed courses in general linguistics and English language and literature at the Faculty of Philosophy in Zagreb (graduation exams left)
· finished two-year course of Swedish and Hungarian language in Zagreb
· completed two-year study of socially applied information science in Zagreb
